Alberta Ski Team Nutrition Program Gets Cooking

 

The Alberta Ski Team participated in cooking lessons as part of their nutritional training for the season.  The program gave the athletes the chance to get hands on training in the preparation of the fuel they need to keep them going in their world of ski racing.

program based on develop-mental age (the maturation level of an
athlete) rather than chronological age. It is athlete centered, coach
driven and administration, sport science and sponsor supported.

The ASDC Network in five regions across Alberta have teamed up to
provide this exceptional training opportunity. As a High Performance
rugby athlete, you will receive a minimum of:
- 64 strength and conditioning sessions
- 6 mental skills sessions
- 6 nutrition skills sessions
